2025 NBA All-Star schedule: San Francisco's action-packed weekend: where to watch, TV channel, and live stream

The Rising Stars practice on Friday kicks off the festivities, and the All-Star Game contest on Sunday brings it to a close.
The Golden State Warriors and San Francisco will host the NBA’s 2025 All-Star Weekend from February 14–16. The event is almost here. The yearly showcase is returning to the Bay Area for the first time since 2000, and there will be some significant changes.

The NBA has most significantly changed the All-Star Game’s format. Shaquille O’Neal, Charles Barkley, and Kenny Smith were selected into three teams of eight players each for this year’s All-Stars, and the Rising Stars Challenge winner will join them on Sunday night for a small single-elimination tournament.
In the semifinals, Shaq’s OGs will play Candace’s Rising Stars, while Kenny’s Young Stars will play Chuck’s Global Stars. After that, the victors will compete for the title of 2025 NBA All-Star champions. The teams will compete until they reach 40 points in each match, and the first team to do so wins.

In addition, the league said Thursday that Steph Curry, a legend of the Warriors, and Sabrina Ionescu, a star of the New York Liberty, will not be rematching their one-on-one 3-point shootout this year because they “weren’t able to land on a plan we thought would raise the bar off of last year’s special moment.”
