Super Bowl LII: Ravens cruise past Steelers
The NFL playoffs have reached the divisional stage thanks to the Ravens’ 28-14 victory over the Steelers.
With 186 yards and two scores from Derrick Henry and another 81 from Lamar Jackson, Baltimore’s rushing offense gained 299 yards.
The Ravens will learn their next opponent after Sunday’s Broncos-Bills game. Next Sunday, the Ravens will play in Buffalo if the Bills come out on top. But if the Broncos manage to pull off a shocking victory, the Texans will be hosted by the Ravens.
The Ravens’ running total ranks ninth all-time in NFL playoffs.
One of the all-time best postseason rushing efforts in NFL history was just put in by the Baltimore Ravens. Before Lamar Jackson’s kneel-down, their rushing total of 300 yards or more in a postseason game was reduced to 299 yards, putting them in a rare position among only eight teams. Tom B: We’ve heard this before in the playoffs: the Steelers score late to make it seem less awful, but then fall drastically behind and lose the game. Instead of getting in trouble for being unprepared again, Tomlin gets kudos for keeping fighting. And the film continues.
