Things to Understand
On Saturday night at Moda Center at the Rose Quarter, the Miami Heat will resume their road trip against the Portland Trail Blazers. Game time is 10:00 p.m. ET. The Trail Blazers are seeking revenge after losing their most recent game against the Heat. The Heat are coming off a victory.

The Heat haven’t been sloppy with the ball this season, averaging just 12.4 turnovers per game (good for fifth in the NBA). Saturday’s game should be no exception. However, things are looking different for the Trail Blazers, who have been averaging 15.6. The Trail Blazers need to figure out how to cut into the Heat’s lead in that area, because the Heat have a big advantage.
The Heat cruised to a 142-82 victory against the Trail Blazers in their most recent meeting in March of 2024. The Heat had a remarkable halftime advantage of 74-40 in that game, and they will be looking to replicate it on Saturday.
