Playoff game honors Los Angeles Fire Department first responders in midst of wildfires

On Saturday, the Los Angeles Chargers played the Houston Texans in an NFL wild-card round playoff game while wearing LAFD attire.

Air quality issues forced Jim Harbaugh and company to make adjustments to this week’s practices on the field.
In other news, last week the Chargers were among an NFL ownership group that donated $5 million to help with wildfire relief.

Joey Bosa said ESPN’s Kris Rhim that his fiancée departed for Houston early because of their closeness to evacuation zones, and at least one coach, Sanjay Lal, had fires touch his home.
