Presented herein is your guide:
There are several opportunities for precipitation, including snow, this weekend, coinciding with the Eagles’ playoff game; nevertheless, the forecast remains uncertain.
A brisk light rain will arrive on Saturday afternoon. Initially, it may commence as flurries in the Lehigh Valley, but it will rapidly convert to rain with minimal to no accumulation. Precipitation amounts appear to be negligible, with the majority of areas receiving approximately one-tenth of an inch.
The forecast for Sunday is complex, as an offshore system may approach sufficiently to produce light snow in the afternoon, potentially affecting the Philadelphia Eagles’ divisional round playoff game against the Los Angeles Rams, contingent upon specific conditions; however, there remains a possibility that it remains entirely offshore.
As of Friday, one model predicts approximately four inches of snow in the Pennsylvania suburbs late Sunday morning into Sunday afternoon, just prior to the Eagles game, with two to three inches expected in the Philadelphia area and one to two inches in South Jersey and Delaware. This may change; thus, remain attentive as we collect further data from the various models.
