Things to Be Aware of
On Tuesday, Alabama will have the opportunity to continue their 9-1 record versus Ole Miss, which dates back to March 2016. At 7:00 p.m. ET, both will square off in an SEC matchup at Coleman Coliseum. With the Rebels on three and the Crimson Tide on eight, both of these teams will be vying for a win streak.
Alabama entered Tuesday’s game having defeated Texas A&M by an astonishing 160 points over/under the oddsmakers had set for their last game. Alabama defeated Texas A&M on Saturday by a score of 94-88. Both teams may soon be practicing additional defensive exercises after pushing the score that high.

Many strong offensive performances led to Ole Miss’ victory. Malik Dia had one of the most noteworthy, going 8 for 14 on his way to 19 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 blocks. Jaemyn Brakefield, who went 5 for 8 on her way to 16 points, five rebounds, and two steals, was another player who made an impact.
Alabama’s 14-2 record this season has been nicely boosted by their recent stellar play, as they have won 11 of their last 12 games. Ole Miss’s victory improved their record to 14-2 and was their eighth consecutive victory at home.
Watch the arc in the game on Tuesday: With an average of 10.3 threes per game this season, Alabama has made making long shots seem effortless. However, Ole Miss has been averaging nine, so it’s not like they have trouble there. It will be interesting to watch how their conflict develops given these conflicting strengths.
Experts predict that Alabama will win by 11.5 points, making them the clear favorite going into this match. They will be the favorites for the eighth consecutive game (they are currently 5-2 against the spread).

Since the Crimson Tide were a 10.5-point favorite at the start of the game, the oddsmakers had a solid sense of the line for this one.
