Memphis won for the third time in four games thanks to 19 points from Desmond Bane, 17 from Jaylen Wells, and 15 points and nine assists from Ja Morant.
Toronto dropped to 1-14 on the road and lost for the ninth time in a row. With 27 points, RJ Barrett led the Raptors, followed by Scottie Barnes with 26. Chris Boucher had a final score of 15.

Before the fourth quarter began, both teams had scored 100 points and had played poor defense for three quarters. Memphis surged to a 22-point lead in the third.

This season, the Raptors gave up the most points—155.

On December 2, 2021, the Grizzlies defeated the Thunder 152-79, setting a new game-high for points. The NBA record for the biggest margin of victory is still that 73-point thumping.
