Tonight, the Milwaukee Bucks, who have won five of six before the break, will take on the injured Dallas Mavericks as they crawl into Fiserv Forum. Dallas, who have lost four of their past five games, may find it difficult to remain competitive after suffering yet another heartbreaking setback.
According to my predictions for the Mavericks vs. Bucks game, the home team will win handily, with Giannis Antetokounmpo breaking the glass in a game that isn’t very high scoring.

Bucks vs. Mavericks prediction
Bucks -12.5 (+120 at bet365) is my best wager.
My evaluation
I’m not content to settle for the Milwaukee Bucks’ 10.5 for -110 NBA odds advantage. We can perform better, and in order to increase my compensation, I’m choosing the alternate spread.
The Dallas Mavericks continue to suffer after Kyrie Irving tore his ACL during Monday’s game against Sacramento, ending his season. Jaden Hardy, who sprained his right ankle in the same game, was also lost for the team.
The Mavericks will be without its major scorers, playmakers, and rebounders for the foreseeable future due to the absence of PJ Washington and the big man trio of Anthony Davis, Dereck Lively II, and Daniel Gafford. The squad will be without all five of its top rebounders and three of its six top scorers, excluding Davis and Kai Jones, who have each only played one game for Dallas.
The stats support the claim that Dallas’s predicament has gotten worse after the Luka Doncic trade. With an offensive rating of 114.4 for the season, the Mavs are ranked 10th, but since the break, they have fallen to 28th place at 105. Dallas is ranked 16th in the season with a net rating of 0.9, but they have a -9 record over their previous six games, which puts them in 26th place.
With Kyrie’s most recent injury, Dallas is undoubtedly looking to the upcoming season after such a terrible month following Doncic’s trade. Tonight’s game has all the makings of a blowout, and Milwaukee is playing at their best in front of the home crowd.
Giannis Antetokounmpo should be very successful in this game because Dallas’ frontcourt rotation is completely destroyed. He has grabbed 12 rebounds in one game, hit the Over twice, and averaged 13.2 rebounds over his last five games. Antetokounmpo will have no trouble crossing this level because the Mavericks have given up more rebounds than any other team since the break.
After the Luka deal, Irving’s outstanding scoring prowess sustained the struggling Mavericks, but without him on the court, the Mavericks will struggle to score. Since the break, Milwaukee’s defense has been outstanding while Dallas’ offense has been terrible. The Bucks should defeat the Under by reducing the score and winning by a landslide.
Prediction of the Mavericks vs. Bucks score
Predicted score: Mavericks 98, Bucks 118
Giannis Antetokounmpo, Damian Lillard, and a healthy Bucks lineup in Milwaukee will be too much for Dallas’ skeleton crew to handle.
