Three-time Champions League champion Marco Asensio has joined Aston Villa on loan from Paris Saint-Germain.
Asensio, a Spanish international with 38 caps, will be with Villa until the end of the 2024–2025 campaign.
In addition to winning local league titles and domestic cups in France and Spain, he has had a dazzling career, winning European championships with Real Madrid.
He has excelled on the international scene and helped Spain win the UEFA Nations League in 2023. He is at ease playing both on the wing and in an offensive midfield role.
